General live shows
I assume this topic goes here, but correct me if not
Ever seen The Blackout live?
Best time you've ever seen them, if you're lucky enough to see them more than once?
Also, I thought it'd be awesome if you could give your opinion on which is the best song that they play live? Whether it's cos of the band themselves, it's your favourite or the way the crowd reacts when they play it, I just think it'd be ace to talk about!
So, I'll kick it off. I love I'm A Riot! You're A Fucking Riot! live, along with Hope, Hard Slammin' (not that they really do it anymore) and a few others.
I'd love to hear them do The Devil Inside or Tops Off Party...but that's just cos I'm a pervert

Re: General live shows
I have 2 best times.
Manchester on the Hope tour is one of them just purely because I was stood at the back and to watch the crowd move the way they did was just absolutely mind blowing. Oh and during Hope we all stood in a row and held hands at the back the group of us that were there and it was really sweet.
My favourite show for being squashed/barrier bruised/sweaty/gob smacked has got to be Liverpool sound city show (Friday). That was insane. But both shows and the weekend as a whole was one of the best experiences I have had so far.

Oh yes and fave songs are Save Ourselves, High Tide Baby and This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things for crowd singing/ jumping up and down.
I'm a Riot just for pure hell breaking loose!

Sound City was AWESOME!
Which show was it where you got to sing with Snoz?
I remember you singing with Gav as well, but I think that was Sean's birthday or something :')
Re: General live shows
It was the Friday show when Snoz jumped off the barrier and landed on my face and gave my the microphone and we sang the end of SOS together.
Then I sang with Gav on the Saturday!
Obviously sound city was that awesome because of the people I was with too!
GREEK YOGHURT
FETA CHEESE.

Re: General live shows
Whenever they play High Tide I just flip out, purely just for that one moment when they let the crowd sing the 'whoa-ohs' by themselves. Just adjsahdsh. Chills. Everytime.

Ah! I wasn't sure, it was a very very long weekend :') That's so amazing
SHUT UP. STOP. NO. NO. I still can't walk down the dairy aisle without cringing ¬_¬
And I've gotta agree with the High Tide thing, when everyone does the Woahs, it's awesome, same with the end of SOS.
Re: General live shows
People are gonna read this and be like woah why has that person just randomly wrote feta cheese and greek yogurt
Haha I bet you can't, you shouldn't after what that greek man did to you.....
I think I need to continue getting on stage with them. It is bloody awesome!
At Manc it was mental though for the woahs and SOS it was the loudest I have ever heard it. Brought tears to my eyes

I think I love Save Our Selves the most, the reaction of everyone when Sean tells us to sit down is just amazing.
I've seen them live 3 times and they were fantastic each time. I completely fell in love with The Blackout when they supported MCR in February and when they played It's High Tide Baby Sean waved at me and my friend, after that I was belting out all of the lyrics I knew at the top of my lungs because... I don't know why but I just needed to XD
Also in their April tour they were brilliant, the whole show was just perfect until Sean got a shoe thrown at him.

Re: General live shows
I'm not sure I could pick a favourite show... there's been things about all of them that made them stand out. I think if I had to decide I'd go with either Carlisle Brickyard Download Warm-Up show last year, or Newcastle on the last tour.
Carlisle I picked because it was my first show since I'd fallen in love with them and knew all the songs. It's a tiny venue (I think 350 capacity) and I got barrier pretty much in front of where Sean stood most of the show. Since it's so small the barrier was really close to the stage so there weren't security in between and I was within touching distance whenever Sean or Gavin came to the edge of the stage. They played I Know You Are But What Am I and almost all of TBIT and I got to do kneeling down and zombie hands and it was just perfect.
Newcastle was the last of 3 dates I did and I got to be with a bunch of other Riotsquad people I know from online so it was good to spend time with them. It was also the only other time I've been barrier so the shows got better and better for me as the week went on and I knew what was coming next... although I didn't predict the drama that happened during STFUppercut. That didn't matter though, and I got to meet the guys again which was really lovely.
As far as favourite songs go, I really love all of them but my favourites are High Tide, Said And Done, Hope, We're Going To Hell, Nice Things, I'm A Riot, Higher and Higher, Never By Your Side, I Know You Are and Life and Death In Space (not that they've played it for a few years)

Re: General live shows
My favourite gig of TBO.
Wow.
Uhm.
The Riotsquad Camden gig in December.
I've seen them about 30 odd times. I don't even know anymore. Cannot be bothered to count at all.
My favourite song live, is High Tide or SOS because of the crowd reaction.
It's such a buzz hearing/seeing that reaction.

Re: General live shows
I've no idea when the best gig was. They're all great... I've not once, as of yet, come away thinking 'Well, that was rubbish.'
Would looooove to see them play No More Waiting live.
SOS... I saw them at Download 2009, and it just amused me. I went like this:
Sean: Everyone kneel down!
Everyone: ...No.
Poor thing
