Favourite films
Since there are no film threads yet I thought I'd start one for people to share what their favourites are.
Also if anyone's seen anything lately that they want to recommend then that'd be good too.
To start off, I watched 'An Education' yesterday and I loved it. It's set in 1960s Britain and it's about a schoolgirl who wants to go to Oxford University but then she meets a man who makes her question her future. It's got Carey Mulligan in it and it was nominated for lots of awards and if you're in the UK it's on BBC iPlayer right now, so I'd recommend it.
Feel free to share!

Howl's Moving Castle.
I will never ever tire of that. I mean, aside from the fact that I srsly fancy Howl(WHAT DO YOU SEE IN SOPHIE, BOY?!), which is so wrong on so many levels... It's so great. I may prefer it to Spirited Away.
For some who don't know:
It's a Studio Ghibli anime, directed by Hayao Miyazaki about a girl called Sophie, who gets cursed by a witch to become an old woman. There's also a magician called Howl "stealing hearts", who is incredibly vain and is trying not to get caught by the same witch who cursed Sophie. Essentially, the story revolves around them and I may have dropped a spoiler earlier in my post. whoops.

Re: Favourite films
Oooh I've never seen that one I don't think! I liked My Neighbour Totoro so I might check it out.
I just finished watching The Runaways, it was pretty good although I'm not a fan of Kristen Stewart. It's the story of the band The Runaways (Joan Jett, Cherie Currie, Lita Ford, Cherrybomb etc) and the music was pretty sweet in it.

I'm a huge fan of the Saw films. Love horror films in general. And comedy. Shaun Of The Dead is such a classic.
